Description
I gave this a 9.5 out of 10 because it IS used and because the box doesn’t look new. The Radio itself is PERFECT. Ready for any band you want to talk on. Hi/Low frequencies, ANL, Roger Beep, Echo Board and a BEAUTIFUL new (like two days ago new) Astatic RED DEVIL Amplified Microphone.
This radio presents at 230 Watts PEP and is a TRUE Power Machine with a built in Amplifier. Runs very nice. I have it on a 30am 14.8vdc power supply which is a bit of overkill for it, but hey, if you got it flaunt it, right?
I’m pumping into a 50′ line of Coax at 70′ in the air with an omni-directional HI DB Gain Antenna and it’s pretty cool. I’m running an Digital Antenna Tuner and when the machine is fired up, the thing reads off the scale. The DOSY loves it at the 1000 watt meter.
Here’s the deal, the straight and skinny. I want the new 650 watt Ranger. That’s the goal so I’m going to sacrifice my 6900 to help get it.
Send money before midnight so you don’t forget LOL!
As you can see, the unit is in service now. It comes with the mounting bracket, a nice drop down rack for elevation, the Astatic Mic (or you can have the ORIGINAL (like new) RANGER mic. Both feature a nice tight coil. The original box is included along with the standard RANGER Heavy Duty Power Cable.
If you ask nice, I might throw in the 30amp Power Supply as long as you cover the additional shipping.
It can be boxed and ready to ship at a moments notice.
Thank you for looking.
